Arnika Dawkins

Arnika Dawkins is the owner and director of Arnika Dawkins Gallery, a fine art photography gallery she founded in Atlanta in 2012. The gallery is dedicated to showcasing the work of talented emerging and mid-career artists, with a particular focus on fine art photography by African Americans and images that explore the experiences and identities of people from the African Diaspora.
Dawkins’s mission is to connect collectors with photography that is meaningful, inspiring, and thought-provoking. As both a fine art photographer and an avid collector herself, she brings a unique perspective to her work, serving as a knowledgeable and trusted resource for artists and collectors alike.
She holds a Master of Arts in Digital Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design, reflecting her deep commitment to the medium. Under her leadership, Arnika Dawkins Gallery has become a respected space for critical dialogue and artistic engagement within the contemporary photography community.
The gallery is a member of the Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD), where Dawkins serves on the board and chairs the Education Committee for AIPAD Talks, helping to advance education and awareness around photography as an art form.
