Bryan Schutmaat

Bryan Schutmaat is a photographer based in Austin, Texas, whose work has been widely exhibited and published both nationally and internationally. His photographs often explore themes of landscape, identity, and the American experience, particularly in rural and post-industrial settings.

Schutmaat has received numerous honors for his work, including a John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Fellowship, the Aperture Portfolio Prize, and an Aaron Siskind Foundation Fellowship.
